Comparison

Easyflow vs Kissflow: which fits your approval workflows?

Kissflow often comes up when a company starts looking for "workflow software" and lands on low-code platforms. Smaller teams then wonder whether they need a platform at all, or just a handful of approval processes that work. That is the question this page tries to answer honestly.

We compare the approach, approvals from email, people outside the company, approval limits by amount, branching, integrations and the pricing model, then show how to move one process. Disclosure: Easyflow is our product. Every claim about Kissflow was checked on its official website and help docs in October 2026. Plans and features change, so confirm what matters to you before you decide. We do not list Kissflow prices.

Kissflow

Kissflow is a low-code platform to build enterprise apps, with workflows, forms, portals, boards and reports in one place. Its process builder supports parallel branches, conditional routing, SLAs and escalations, and it offers native connectors to systems such as SAP, Salesforce and Workday. It is strongest when IT and business teams want one governed platform for many internal apps.

Easyflow

Easyflow is a request and approval tool, not an app platform: each process is a request form followed by a straight line of steps and approvals. Approvers decide from the email, amount tiers pick the approvers, and outsiders can submit public forms or complete guest steps without counting as users. It suits teams of 10 to 300 people who want a few processes running quickly from a ready-made gallery.

Which one fits

Choose Kissflow if

  • You want one governed low-code platform for many internal apps, not only approval processes.
  • You need parallel branches, SLAs and native connectors to systems like SAP, Salesforce or Workday.
  • IT will own the platform, and a custom annual agreement fits how you buy software.

Choose Easyflow if

  • You need a few approval processes, such as purchases, expenses and time off, running without a platform project.
  • You want a published price and a self-serve trial instead of a quote.
  • Public request forms should be part of the one plan, not limited to Enterprise accounts.

Moving a process to Easyflow

  1. Choose one Kissflow process to move first and list its form fields, steps, assignees and step conditions.
  2. Start from the closest Easyflow gallery process (for example Purchase order with approval limits or Expense reimbursement) and recreate the fields, lists and formulas.
  3. Rewrite parallel branches as a single sequence, since Easyflow runs steps one after another, and turn amount conditions into approval tiers.
  4. Export or save the history you need from Kissflow before your agreement ends. Easyflow has no importer, so finish in-flight items in Kissflow and start new ones in Easyflow from a set date.

Questions

Is Easyflow a good Kissflow alternative for small teams?

If what you need is approval workflows rather than a platform for building apps, yes. If you plan to build many internal apps with portals, parallel branches and enterprise connectors, Kissflow is built for that and Easyflow is not.

Can approvers act from email in both tools?

Yes. Kissflow email actions compose a reply that approves or rejects, and a rejection needs a note. In Easyflow the email opens a confirmation page first, so mail scanners that follow links cannot approve anything by accident.

Can I move my Kissflow processes automatically?

No. Easyflow has no importer. You rebuild each process from a gallery template and keep your Kissflow history in an export or in Kissflow until you no longer need it.
